Use this page for privacy requests concerning personal information associated with the Unity website or portal. Do not include passwords, MFA secrets, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information in a request.

1. Requests you can submit

Depending on applicable law and the relationship you have with Unity, you may request:

  • confirmation of whether Unity processes personal information about you;
  • access to or a copy of eligible personal information;
  • correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • deletion of eligible personal information;
  • data portability where required;
  • opt-out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling where those activities occur and applicable law grants the right;
  • appeal of a denied privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.

2. How to submit

Use the Unity contact page and clearly write Privacy Request in the subject or beginning of the message. You may also use the contact email displayed on that page.

Include your name, the email associated with your Unity account (if applicable), the right you want to exercise, the product/site area involved, and enough information for Unity to locate the relevant records.

3. Verification

Unity may need to verify your identity before disclosing, correcting, or deleting account data. Verification may include signing into the affected account, confirming control of the account email, or providing limited additional information reasonably necessary to match the request to records. Unity will not ask you to send your password or MFA secret.

4. Authorized agents

Where law permits an authorized agent to submit a request, Unity may ask for documentation showing the agent's authority and may separately verify the consumer's identity or authorization.

5. Appeals

If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, submit a new message titled Privacy Appeal and include the prior request date or reference plus a short explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

6. Global Privacy Control

Unity will process legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms for processing to which those mechanisms apply. The current website does not sell personal data or use it for cross-context targeted advertising, so Global Privacy Control does not currently change service-essential authentication, security, payment, or account processing.

7. Timing and exceptions

Unity will respond within the time required by applicable law when a statutory right applies. Some information may be retained or excluded when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, exercising legal claims, completing transactions, or other lawful exceptions.
